Our coaches are drawn from the parents of our players and sometimes, we lose coaches as their children transition out of Dovery Down into their new junior schools or for other reasons such as changes in their personal circumstances which constrains their ability to support us.

At the end of the last season we bid farewell to two of our most experienced coaches. Dave Mulhern and James Hunt have been active coaches for a number of years providing sterling leadership and mentoring for their respective teams as they grew up through the school.

Both Dave and James were honoured with a special Coaches Award as small token of our appreciation and gratitude for all the work they have done for our players and the club - inspiring their teams to achieve the best they could every time they had the opportunity.

Both Dave and James were very well respected and experience members of the club management team and we all wish them success in whatever they do in the future.

We hope they will not become strangers and will come back to visit us when they can.
