At the end of season awards ceremony held on July 11th, 2015, DDFC announced a change for the chairmanship of the club. After performing the role for a season, Phil Birdseye has had to step down due to increasing work commitments which prevented him from devoting sufficient time to manage the club and coordinate related activities.

From the new 2015 / 2016 season onwards Mr Gary Hill and Mr Correy Voo will be assuming the role as co-chairman splitting the responsibility between them so that the work can be managed appropriately and to provide more contact for the club parents, the school and other related organisaitons like the PTA and local community.

In addition to the first order of business for the new co--chairmen was to re-structure the organisation and operation of the club to re-insate additional roles which will further help to bring effficiency to the club and how it works for the children in our teams. Specifically, with immediate effect, DDFC is also announcing the following roles:

Training & Equipment: Mr Martin Carmody (a previous chairman of the club) will continue provide his experience and expertise by helping to improve the club's training and will also provide management for our equipment, clothing and other merchandising.

Club Finance: Mr Andrew Abbott will be taking the responsibility of managing the clubs finances and allocation of funds for our weekly training and match activities. In addiiton he will also provide help with future marketing and sponsorship activities.

Club Fixtures: Mr Dale Stillman will continue to take the lead on coordinating our relationships with the other local school teams and for organising our schedule of both friendly and competitive matches including potential 'special' events througout the season.

Club Facilities: Mr James Cartwright to take the lead on helping us coordinate the use of the school fields and help provide oversight to help keep the club equipment in good maintenance order for our training and match events throughout the season.
